Chestnut Dipping Oil
½ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ Cup finely chopped or ground Chestnuts (Cooked-boiled, roasted, or microwaved)
1 Cup Peeled Roasted Whole Chestnuts (These can be boiled, microwaved, roasted in pan or oven)
1 tsp fresh minced garlic
½ tsp garlic salt
Pinch of dried thyme
Pinch of dried basil
1 tbs Parmesan Cheese
Dried Parsley
Fresh Ground Pepper
Pour oil onto plate that you will serve dipping oil. Mix in minced garlic, Chestnuts, garlic salt, thyme, basil, Parmesan cheese. Grind fresh peppercorns and distribute evenly over mixture. Sprinkle dried or fresh parsley over mixture for garnish.
Place cooked or roasted Chestnuts around perimeter of plate.
Since we are "nuts" about our Chestnuts we try to ship most orders Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to make sure they are fresh and delicious when you get them.
